this guy is nuts!
I know I love my truck and think it is worth a lot of money....But in the real world noone would pay the money this guy is asking for. The truck looks really nice but he must be crazy!

Yeah, its a nice truck and you can ask anything you want for it. But at the end of the day, somethings only worth what someone else is willing to pay.
You could have a 5ct flawless diamond and if most someone is willing to pay is $10.00 then thats what its worth ....ten bucks.

Price is relative, 15 grand to a wealthy man thats looking for an original, non hacked up sb 4x4 in excellent shape isnt much. Nada classic values shows 13 grand for a '76 sb 4x4 as high retail, doesnt mean you are going to get that much nessecarily but thats the book value. Interestingly, a similar '79 model shows a high of around 5800, wonder why?

Well this about sums it up:
I DO NOT HAVE ANY PROOF OR THE TRUCK BEING A 2 OWNER TRUCK OR THAT THE 75K MILES IS ACTUAL. I HAVE BEEN A LICENSED DEALER IN THE STATE OF ARKANSAS FOR 13 YEARS AND BY THE CONDITION OF TRUCK AND THE WAY IT DRIVES I WOULD THINK IT WAS ALL TRUE.

There's a saying in the car business: "hit 'em high, and scrape 'em off the ceiling." In other words, hit them with a high price at the start so that when you drop down to your REAL price, it looks like a great deal. The guy will take less.

how nice?
If the truck has new motor and tranny with some cool upgrades it might be worth it and clean truck. Axle upgrades also. haven't seen the truck but how much would it cost to replace with a new truck with the same abilities. last year did a nice c-6 tranny and almost $3000.00 into this tranny. this is more than most people spend on a engine and I have more into engine also. Not braggin but I build overkill into truck. Another factor is figuring taxes and insurance into the budget also. interesting truck.

So you know the dash is cracked & probably door seals an all that needs replaced. Plus no pics of the tailgate bed or interior or engine. Now if all that was redone then maybe but not in the condition it is in. But nice truck though just not 15K nice. More like $8,500 nice an that is being nice with what he has listed.
