Way over priced. A nice, re-painted 4x4 without motor or tranny being rebuilt is not worth $15K. Now fully restored, new interior, rebuilt motor, etc. $10K maybe.
I can't see craigslist at work but $15k is some serious money. I just spent a lot of time and money fixing my truck up and I consider my truck to be not for sale. But if someone was gonna pay $15k for it I'd sell it for sure! It would take me about 1 second to make that decision and wouldn't think twice!
A little righ for my blood, and probably most people's. If the truck were 100% original, it MIGHT, bring that kind of money. A really nice all original '78 just sold out my way for $12k. And it was a verified 1 owner, 33k mile prime example.
Oh and BTW, Mudder460, Where did you get that avatar? It's neat!
There's no way...no way that truck is worth $15K with 75K miles on it. This person is living on a pipe-dream here. I was told by a professional auto appraiser that shortbed trucks can gererate more than a longbed, but only if they're Q-tip clean or Concours D'Elegance worthy. I really doubt this truck is in that same class, but then again...there's a sucker born every minute.
