Yes. Mine have been like that for years. Touch up paint provides temporary satisfaction if you leave the doors open long enough for the paint to harden.

I have a pre-filter on both of my rigs. My comment about being too restrictive was directed at b-uno's post about using a pillow case as a pre-filter.
