These came Friday. I couldn't wait, so I mounted the wheels/tires in my drive. Yes, I used the "jack" and the lug wrench/tools that are standard in the X. Boy, was I tired! My bro in law lives 5 minutes away and has a shop, but I didn't even want to wait that long! Still waiting on the V codes, Rancho steering stabilizer, and the Hellwig rear sway bar. Man! What a difference just the wheels and tires make!

Hellwig is now installed
Didn't get a chance yesterday to install the Hellwig rear sway bar but made time today.
It was a pretty easy straight forward install. Organized all the parts and laid everything out prior to putting together.

i gotta do something about these brakes, they are driving me crazy. new pads last summer, rotors are starting to feel slightly warped(were fine last summer) but now they sequel SO loud when braking with light-medium pressure...like stop lights, stop signs, parking lots and it sounds soooo bad! time to spend some real coin on good rotors and pads..ugh
i know what you mean, we got warping going on and some light pedal squeekin,. i just hit the brakes harder and its quiet, but then it looks like i dont know how to drive.

Ugh, last night a Duramax wanted to race and I had his number until 3rd gear, my tranny is sticking a little on that one and he left me. UGH. Need a tranny yesterday!

Just need some lower radiator hoses, CAT ELC, some VC-9 and the games will begin.
Filled her up this weekend too and got 17.2 mpg out of it. So glad summer fuel is here!

Okay, just got off the phone with John Wood. Guess I'm doing the street performance tranny, a driveline/shaft whatever the F it's called from a place he uses that's 120 miles away, and a locker in the rear differential. Gonna be mid June before he can get to me. So planning myself a little trip to California for the first time in my life. I think I may spend a few extra days to visit a few things. Probably for sure Disney since my girls have never been. Anyone got any suggestions on fun things to do there while with my girlies?
