Taking it in for new injectors tomorrow. It should be a very happy truck after that.

How about some of their Real Coca-cola!

Nah, it was for work. Gas is expensive, but we were in the boonies (I've seen it sold from a barrel the further out ya get). Too sweet for me, we stuck with the other carbonated beverages....

I went out on a photographing adventure today, and I tried to hit up most of the places I took the black one a few weeks ago. I wasn't thrilled about the cloudiness, but since I graduate Saturday and every day until then is supposed to be cloudy to some degree, I figured I may as well just go for this.

I haven't gone through all the pics yet, but here's one I really like:

The man in Brown showed up today and brought me the present from Bob at Diesel Site I've been expecting:

There should be a box with yellow tape coming from Clay this afternoon with a new thermostat.

What I have:

-Coolant Filter from Bob
-New Stock Ford Thermostat (coming in this afternoon)

What I'm missing:

-4 Gallons of CAT ELC
-New Lower Radiator Hoses
-1 Quart of VC-9

Thanks!

I assume you went for the 36" long, 12.5" high versions? It looks like the custom one in the front would be 40" wide (to match the double drawers) and same height as the drawers, but how long is it (front-to-back) in inches? Was the cost of the custom box similar to that of the drawers, or was it quite a bit more given that it was a custom dimension?

The two drawers are 36" deep, 20" wide & 12" high.

The custom chest is 24" deep, 50" wide & 12" high. I could go wider on this since it cleared the spare tire. I'll dig up the cost and send you a PM.

How are the drawers held down, and are they removable (when empty obviously)? The reason I ask is that I have a mini compressor & tiny airtank for my ARB lockers inside that little compartment right at the back on the passenger side, so it would be nice to retain access to that compartment in the event that those items needed servicing.

I bolted the two drawer systems together and they are held down at three points by turnbuckles...so they are removable. As the latch points for the drawers, I used the two rear cargo anchors on the driver's side and the passsenger side third row seat mount.

I'd love a system like this since I currently just have a bunch of cheap plastic crates for storing stuff in the back of my X, and other than the spare wheel mount hook and some of the seat brackets there isn't really much way to secure them from sliding around. A system like this would add some usable drawer space below, while still allowing for crates or other cargo on top without obscuring the rear view, as well as providing convenient tie downs for securing whatever cargo was on top.

On top of the drawer boxes I cut some Hi-Lift Slide-N-Lock adjustable tie down points for securing cargo on top of the drawers. Also makes a great area for an air mattress/sleeping bag.

Anyway, like I said, very slick, I love it.
I can get you more pics or measurements if needed.

Awesome, thanks for the response & the PM.

I'm a bit short on cash right now, so I'll likely have to wait a little while before getting a drawer system. However, while not super cheap, given the extra utility of valuable interior space afforded by the system, it's difficult to argue with the value.

Okay guys, tomorrow morning I have to go put the deposit on my new tranny. It's an ADP or something like that, comes with a 500k miles 5 year warranty. Got any opinions on the brand etc...? Supposed to cover it even if I race with it, it is promised not to give out. Really expensive so I'd like to make sure I'm not doing anything stupid here!
