New grill finally came in after about a month. It actually is a lot better than I was expecting after the delays and bs. It fits really well. I actually am shocked.


Yes the bumper needs to be brought up on the driver-side. I have not hooked up the lights yet either in the grill. I might run cab lights one of these days and when I do the grill lights will be hooked to them. I also need to add fog lights to the ole girl.

 

Cleaned up the engine valley of my 7.3L PS while trying to locate a leak. I eventually found the fuel drain valve is leaking but not into the valley. The oil in the valley was from a HPOP hose that blew a few years back.

 

Took Betty on a trip into Ouray Canyon. Great views today.

replaced the coolant with CAT ELC, changed rear diff fluid. and swapped a 170amp alternator to a 240amp

 

Installed a cts3 with egt on my buddies excursion

Edge makes a dash mount specific for the trucks/ Excursions of these years. Cleans up the look of the install IMHO.

 

I took delivery of an ARB front bumper for my ex yesterday, and picked up a 12k winch today. Thought I'd install this weekend but they're calling for stormy weather. We'll see...

There she is. It's not going on the red ex, it's going on my green one since it's the DD. Hit a deer last week and the insurance money bought a bumper.

I have an ugly OEM chrome bumper. I want a deer smasher bumper, but don't like the looks of the 'Ranch Hand' styles out there. I do like this and the Buckstop Baja. I don't like the price of any of them!

 

I liked the buckstop as well but it was even more pricey, and I've always liked ARB. Shipping was free.

and I replaced that Bat Volts on the 1st screen with ICP which is 10,000 times more useful than seeing battery voltage.... nearly everyone has a DVM in the Power Port already.

Heres a full size pic ( posting from my phone) of the dash in my Excursion, you can even see the Excursion script logo on the dash.
Sure looks like it fits pretty dang good to me.
