Been polishing an waxing mine, not my favorite thing to do. I have some thin spots on the roof and hood but she has been shining up. Man there is a lot or real estate to do.
Locating more spare parts for mine. Saw a yesterday arrival at LKQ 1.5 hours away this morning. I dropped everything and got in the van. Just there 1 day, and heavily molested already. I got what I wanted though.
And man, that shock hack...!!!!

that shock is awful! I have a set of adapters lying around from my old Ranchos
Did you ask around here for your part? I have the tan interior black Limited I bought for parts. I would've been happy to sell a buckle. I will be liquidating un-needed parts from it.
So I thought my batteries were going out (2014 vintage) so I got some new ones then went to replace and the positive battery connector broke. Great...replace that...as I was taking it off the starter, it sheared off the post on the starter. So had to replace that too!
so after several weeks of paint, cleanup, parts replacements, got it driving again.
Bad positive cable Busted starter terminal New positive cable New starter Outside after cleanup
Prepping the Ex for my annual spring trip. Will be putting about 1,000 miles on her next week.
Installed a new turn signal switch as the old one would sometimes hang with the high-beams on even with the switch (allegedly) on low-beam.
Checked the play in the gear selector and the two problematic bolts were tight so it looks like that a new selector is on the list.
Checked the odometer and realized I'd driven her only 2,000 miles in the last year -- 1,000 of them on last year's trip.
I recently replaced the pivot bushings on mine and it solved a couple of issues. No reason to replace the whole thing. Snugged up nicely. Theres a utube on how to do it, easy.
I did exactly the same thing to mine, except that mine lives outside.
I will be waking it up very soon to get it freshened up for a camping trip to TN in April.
