I really need to find out how to make this EX more stable to steer. Feels like the *** end is swaying some.
I know its a common problem but whats the best fix?

Search for "Red Head" steering box, then some new shocks and stabilizer, and maybe check rods/links/ball joints - and lastly - bushings.

Should about cover it all.
Also play around with tire air pressure, my 02' used 65lbs rear 60 front (not towing) best for me. Look into RAS, helped me a bit for little cost... Do you have a rear stabilizer? I used the Helwig for rear stabilizer...
I also, put in v code springs up front and had all new front end and all new shocks etc. Truck handled Great.
If you have slop (play in your steering wheel) you can tighten the steering box a little.( only do 1/4 turn at a time). Most like to turn it all the way then backing off, don't do that.

First step is to make sure all your suspension and steering components are up to snuff.
Then, in my opinion, spend hundreds of dollars and replace all four springs (if you have a 4x4), shocks, blocks, and add a rear sway bar.
All kidding aside, you can start small. Add the rear Hellwig anti-sway bar and see if that makes you happy. If you want more, then look into the information contained in this thread and see if something doesn't strike your fancy.
