I washed mine today and steam cleaned most of the carpets... didn't do as much of a nice job as I had hoped but they're cleaner than they were. Backed her back up into the garage after... seems like she'll be spending the winter in there. The Focus still technically fits the family but #4 is apparently in the works so I'll need the Ex in top shape for the spring. Storing her for the winter will give me a chance to get all the parts I need to fix her/get her the way I want her... and it'll avoid the whole salt/calcium bath ordeal... anything I should do before really storing her? It's not a heated garage... but it's shelter against the elements.

Tight fit

And for fun here's one of the dogs surprise sacking me

I could have made my own - there's instructions on the web on how it's done.
But in this case - it's worth it to me to pay the extra few bux to have it made right by someone that's been doing it a while!

Installed a locking fuel cap. To keep the pretentious little puffs of fluff (Prius drivers) in check.

Wax Job

A weekend without rain has been unusual this summer so a thorough wash and Meguiars Show Car was in order.

Mecdac, buy a can of gloss black spray paint and paint your exhaust pipe where it exits.

Be surprised how much this adds to a nice clean truck.

I used to do mine every spring.

He likes shine, sparkle, bling. If we were all the same they would make one model of truck with one color.

Get a high temp paint. Even BBQ paint works.
