stock size 265/75 16 on the stock wheels for winter.

summer i run 275/55 20 which comes out to be almost exactly the same as stock 31.6"

i'm also lifted 2.5" front/2" in the rear.

really missing the 20s right now

Half of my studs had the center piece come out (the carbide part) of the middle do I am going to use them as summer tires now. I got pulled over one time any they didn't even look at the wheels so I'm not worried about it. They will be mostly non-studded pretty soon anyway. In the Fall I am going to get some Treadwright recaps (bead to bead remolds), the new Claw models in E rating with Kedgegrip pinned for studs for my winter wheels.

after the studded tire deadline they "listen" for them, you can pick out studded tires running on pavement from a mile away(click, click, click, click). i think the ticket is like $30 per tire. alot of years with late snow or above average snow..ect they extend the deadline. where i am in AK studs are legal from September 15 and April 30.

i love blizzaks and there are many studdless snow tires that are wonderful, but on pure ice the studs make a great difference.

i have 6 cars/trucks to switch out to summer wheels/tires. not looking foreword to that.

I'm running x/b modded combo with ext front hangers and 4" rear blocks which works out to about 6" of lift. stockers look really funny... 33" are till a shade to small and look funny... If they wouldn't rub I think id run 37" but only 35" fit with out rubbing so that's what I run with..

Mine are so damaged I can barely hear them anymore. Here is the link to what I am getting next winter;

most people here run there snow tires a 1-3 seasons depending on how much they drive before getting a new set due to stud wear. they dont do any good if they arent there!

looks like a great summer tire but not so much winter, much like a mud tire with no/little siping and large flat lugs. not the best thing on ice, ask the girl in a lifted jeep with MT tires that rearended my explorer which had new cooper M+S studded tires on it. going up hill also...still trying to figure that one out almost 5 years later.

hope they work out for you though! i've found very soft compound/ heavily siped snow tires are perfect for our ice conditions.

I'd have to rent a storage unit for all those extra tires/wheels!

Those look sweet! Says "...assist in improving wintertime traction on packed snow..." I'd worry about loose snow though, didn't ComputerCowboy have problems in the snow this year with tires like that?

I've never switched tires out for winter tires. I just run tires with alot of sipes, or get them siped. That's the main thing to have.

O and a set of tire chains in the back if it gets that bad

Although they're not as thick as "purpose made" nitrile gloves, I get pretty good service from the "Members Mark" blue nitrile "exam" gloves at Sams Club. a double two box pack (400 gloves) runs around $10 here in Chicagoland, and if you're really gonna be cranking on something you can try doubling them.

The best part, Christina, is that you can get them in small, medium, or large, so you should be good to go!

Regards,
