Got the code

I have a '92 F150 5.8L auto. Sometimes the truck would start sometimes it wouldnt start, sometimes it would. Well the other day it just decided not to start anymore. I narrowed the problem to fuel, and got the trouble code 542: Fuel Pump Secondary Circuit failure- PCM to ground. Where should I start? Any help is much appreciated.

Also got the code 332: Insufficient EGR flow (probably due to my inability to start the engine to check codes i could only crank it), and also code MLP sensor out of range. What is the MLP sensor?

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/5...round-out.html Have a read here.
Also the MLPS is the thing on the E4OD transmission that tells it what range you have selected with the shift lever. I should add that the neutral safety switch is in it as well.

Start by checking the electrical for the fuel pump/s, check for 12v at the pump relay and then at the pump connector near the tank. If this is OK and you cannot hear the pump cycle when the key is turned then you have a dead pump and the tank must be dropped to change it. If the pump does cycle you need to test fuel pressure at the rail, it should generate and hold 40-45psi within a couple cycles. If it never reaches this pressure level or loses it immediately then your pump is suspect but you could also have a bad regulator or a partially stuck check valve in the tank that is allowing pressure to bleed off. If the truck has dual tanks the problem could be in the other tank as well... even if it's not currently functional.

There is no pressure in the fuel rail. I checked voltage at the fuel pump i got like 6.8V in one part of the connector and 8V in the other. (the two middle parts. The battery reads 12V.) It wouldnt crank at all with a bad neutral safety right? Thanks Lazy K for the link. I will check the ground. The truck does have dual tanks, but the rear tank didnt work when I bought it. (and by I, I mean the wife while I was in Iraq. ugh)

The ground is tight... where is the pump relay located?
