injector issues

Hey guys Im new to the site but have found some very hepful info here but now I am puzzeled and could use some direction. My truck was acting up idling up and down and then would sputter and smoke. I checked with my tuner and got P0282 and P0284 problems with injector 8. I cleared it put in some fresh fuel some conditioner and replaced both filters and had the mech check it with a real comp and they couldnt find anything and it was running fine. Took it home and thought try to drive it hard and see what happens and now I got a P0266 injector 2 code. Why am I suddenly gettting eratic and inconsistant codes. I heard blown hgs can throw false codes as well is this true? Could it be the ficm? Could it actually be bad injectors ? getting frustrated supposed to go on holidays with the trailer but could end up cancelling trip if problem not figured out soon. thanks for any help

FICM can cause goofy injector behavior. Check your FICM voltage, key on engine off, should be 48V. Do a search for the procedure.

Good advice from Cart... I would suggest if you do not have a fuel pressure gauge you should get one. The injectors on the 6.0 are fussy about fuel pressure, either too high or too low.
