Anybody had this problem before?

my belt is rubbing on my lower radiator hose. it has never done this before. have any of you ever had the problem before, if so what did you do to fix it?

Hmmmm Belt rubbing on the lower hose. Maybe the Atkins diet can help!

Sorry couldn't resist.


Try loosening one end of the hose or both and giving it a twist to pull it away from the belt path. Then tighten it back up.

I haven't heard of this one tho. Seems the hose somehow moved. Shouldn't be hitting it at all.

forget i asked that question, i had a brain fart. belt was on wrong! problem solved.

Never had it happen before, but check your belt tensioner ,might be gettin weak causing it to hit, just a thought....

Don't ya just hate it when that happens????!!!!!! I'm sure others had that problem, just didn't fess up to it. I wouldn't either......

My sticker on the header panel for the belt routing is illegible so I really have to pay attention when I take the belt off.
