FUEL TANK
Replaced the sending unit on my fuel tank (single tank). Reinstalled the fuel tank and now when I fill up I have to pump the gas in sloooooow. Did I screw something up, never had that problem before? Thank You, Bill

My 1980 used to be like that till I went to replace my tank, and noticed the fill tube was actually two pipes. I noticed the small pipe inside had a holder and it had fallen out of place. When I put the new tank in, I made sure the small pipe was located correctly and the filling problem went away.

thats about what i was gunna say...but ive been kicked offline 5 times trying to reply... its easiest to take the whole big rubber hose off and fit the smaller tube into the small slot in the filler neck.. then pup the hose over the tube and clamp it back down trying to fit the small tube up the big one...takes a while
