fuel leaking

Hey guys and gals I don't kniw if any of you had this problem before I have a e99 f350 7.3 I changed out my fuel filter because it was leaking out the drain tube and it fixed it last time now after changing it it is still leaking out and i don't know why has anyone had this issue before?

Sounds like you need to replace the o-rings on the drain valve. This is a common leak problem on the stock fuel bowl. Did you drain the bowl when replacing the filter? Sometimes opening and closing the valve reseats the o-rings on the barrel valve and is a temporary fix.

Go to dieselorings.com and order you a fuel bowl rebuild kit. Or at least the o rings for the drain valve.

If it is leaking out the drain tube I bet you orings are shot.The ULSD does a number on old orings.Look here.You can get the orings from Bob.Great guy with fast shipping.

If you don't go with an entire fuel bowl rebuild, two #202 viton o-rings work for the valve (which is the culprit 99% of the time).
