Well no final test flight, radio's are all jacked up all of a sudden. At least I do not have to self deploy these helo's, they are flying all the way deep into Iraq.
Been there done that, have a locker of t-shirts from there. Am trying to work out getting outta here for a few days, before its back to the grind.

May Trade
Well I've allready talked to the boss, and kind of have her backing me on a possible trade. I found this GOOD LOOKIN 95 F150 reg cab, short bed 4x4, V-8 4 inch suspension lift, 3 inch body lift, ghost flame painted truck I think I have to have. Would possibly trade my 01 (HUH). My truck is nice, vary nice, I've had it since it had 26k, and now has 160, tranny allready rebuilt, still runs great, so there is NO reason to get rid of it. Especially to go back to a truck that is 6 years older, but look at this thing.
If I got this, I'd get rid of Ka'Bluey for sure (DOH)!!!! But "Just Looking " right. Yes Rich..... Found it on "The List" I don't have a clue of how to put that listing on here but look it up, Oh Damn!
Search Springfield, Mo. Cars/trucks by owner. It's listed as BIG F150!

1. Hope you are not trading straight across, your truck is newer and as far as I know,
yours will not fit his needs.
a. yours does not need a pitman arm, why does his?
b. yours does not have a rough bed, he says "I've found a few others cheap" so does it
need a new one, or just some body work?
c. yours does not have fenderwell rust and cab corner rust
2. 302 auto with 35's='s gutless gas hog unless you re-gear the rear end$$$
3. Add date July 19 he was asking $4500 now Aug 18 $5000 what's the deal there??
Usually its gets cheaper as time goes on with things on "the list".
But heck its got fake hood scoops and drilled and slotted front rotors and flames. But who am I to nit pick, it you want it then get it.
I would buy Kabluey if I was in the market for another one, like I need another one. lol

Can you say P.O.S!!! He was wanting to straight trade, I was figuring on him giving me some money to boot. His "dents" in the bed... Would have been easier to just replace the bed, atleast rear patch panels on both sides. The "Rust Spot" on the passenger side, needed a complete patch panel (I did body and paint for about 10 years). The enterior that had "Dirty Carpet" needed to be replaced, no washing that out.
He told me it had a power steering leak, and it did for a fack, also motor oil (my 01 leaks nothing, anyplace). Needed brake lines from the wider tires rubbing them, not a pitman arm, but maybe a loose gear box, etc etc etc..... It did have a nice paint job on the front clip though. Horn works with a push button below the dash, ABS light is flashing codes. He didn't even get to see my truck...
Needless to say my nice, clean paid for 01 is in the drive way, with the goodies to get it's oil changed this evening.

I was trying to be gentle in my assessment of what your were about to do. But would of been happy for you if it would of worked out for the better.
Enjoy the 01 and show no mo Kabluey some love, get it a new pine tree air freshner or something nice like that. lol

G mernin FTE in Misery. Hope all is well. Busy weekend ahead, gonna try and fire two dead projects this weekend...dentside and 88 Vette. If all goes well, might even put the new top on the convertible.

Correct Ches the close knuckle is NOT the one to have, notorious for leaking and having weak small u joints.
I have a idea I will throw at you when I get back in town, involving Penny's project.
