I just found a great place to get smart on our rigs, Google (Ford F100) ,WOW I am amazed at the info there Wikipedia says...
Under Sixth generation (1973–1979) The F-150 was introduced in 1975 to help circumvent coming emissions requirements. These came with a maximum payload of 2,275 lb (1,032 kg) when properly equipped. With the 1/2 ton F-100 still in production, the new F-150 was referred to as the "heavy half" ton by some people.
Did I win, did I did I???
Far as I'm concerned you did. I didn't know & was looking for the answer. Yours is the only one I've gotten so far. Thanks Rich.

Reason: Fix typos.
Went with Allen to look at the 4 door Maverick tonight! I love it its a great looking car for its age. needs tranny has C4 with reverse only, think Im going to rebuild it, any one have any know how.
It's actually out of a 91 Lincoln Town Car. I was planning on building it and swapping it to my 92 Town Car, but alas, my 92 has an AOD-E. The nut on the selector lever broke off, and the pan is dented, but at least it's really dirty and together. I don't remember if it's got the kick-down cable(or really if it even had one).
It's been at the farm for about 2 years, since I pulled it in my buddy's backyard. I'd probably let it go really easily, since I have no use for it and it would need rebuilt before being installed.

Good morning everybody. Any ideas on quality ignition parts ie cap and rotor for a 2002 Durango with a 5.9? I put Standard Ignition Blue Streak cap and rotor in it two years and 10K miles ago, On my drive to work this morning I got a misfire code on multiple cylinders. I pulled the cap and the terminals are all corroded. All the wires ohm out good to go. I cleaned the plugs and reinstalled them, gaps were all on the money and the electrode is square. Started it up and still a bad misfire. I pull wires from plugs and three are not firing. I'm sick of junky parts from what used to be quality suppliers. The cap and rotor are labeled made in Mexico. WTF?
Still sitting on my butt instead of working on the 96 Cavalier so I can get it sold. Took Shari out for breakfast, now I can't keep my eyes open. I eat and pass out, dosen't matter if I just got up from a good nights sleep or just a snack in the afternoon.
Getting ready for Tim's birthday party tomorrow. His birthday is sunday but we're springging for a Bowling part for some friends of his. Got him some things for his car. Can't believe that boy's gonna be 16 this sunday. It went by me like a beam of light.
Y'all have a good one. I better get up and do something or I'm gonna zonk!
Unk Bob

Don't know what to tell you on this. I had the same problem with caps on my '92 5.2L Dakota. I found that most of the "off the shelf" parts are pretty much all the same - cheap foreign stuff. I finally bit the bullet and forked over the cash for a cap from Summit Racing and didn't have problems for the remainder of its life. Here's a link to Summit Racing! I would bet you'd be fine with the Mopar Performance or the Summit branded caps.
