No worries Tom, I had surgery 2 weeks ago today it was the only option since the patella tendon completes the connection of your quad to your lower leg allowing for extension of the lower leg. Leg is pretty much worthless without it being reattached. Won't be able to do much rehab until the tendon heals, which should start in about 4 weeks, hopefully.

So Jason are you allowed to put any weight on it at all or just have to use crutches till after rehab starts?

I can put weight on it, preferably with the immobilizer on. I'm able to walk with out the crutches for small distances around the house, it's faster to walk longer distances with the crutches.

Well at least you can put some weight on it or that would suck to have to use the crutches for everything!
