Evening guys!
Well, I found out more details on my dads truck. Ok so the truck turned up at a repair shop (in front of one of the overhead doors) and the shop owner called a number on a pc of paper in the truck (turned out to be a sub-contractor) and said what do you want fixed on your Excursion. The sub said its not my truck and I don't know what you are talking about. So the shop owner called back on Mon and said if you don't want me to fix it come and get it. Again the sub said I don't own an Excursion and I don't know who you are trying to call. He went out to the truck and found my dads name and told the sub. He knew exactly who he needed and called my dad.
My dad had a little trouble getting the truck back from the city it was in. They wanted al kinds of info before releasing it. He got it back and no damage so far. He even got his cell phone and all of the keys back! Talking with my bro (who also lives in FL) he said "they" are stealing heavy duty trucks to use in the theft of BIG boats! I saw it on you tube today. I think the video was labeled Century 2400 or something along those lines. He is going to have his mechanic go over everything to make sure it is ok. WOW what bad luck then good luck in the same week! anyway I am here for a bit then off to a meeting.
