dohc in a 69 f100??

Hey everyone I'm brand new to this site, I've been here reading alot but now I'm part of the site well any ways here's my questions....

I have a 69 F100 looking to do the crown vic front end swap and thinking of droping in a 4.6 as well. now i just found a 93 mark viii for $500 bucks. Will the dohc engine fit? has anyone ever tried to do something like this? and what about the console shiff, will I be able to convert that into a column shift? or is there any way to run the engine with out all the accessories? what i would really like to keep the interior as oringinal as possible and everthing esle modern. Let me know what you guys think thanks

It is not a drop in, but can be made to fit and is an awesome engine setup.

I have a bud in the Raleigh NC area with one.

Possibly but not a production engine. I remember the cover of a HotRod magazine around 1969 and it was all Ford experimental or racing engines and there was a small block OHC
