6.0 P2990 Code Please Help

So i gave up and thought i would take the Ex to the dealership to have my problem diagnosed. Keep getting a CEL P2290... Any way fixed the STC fitting on the HPOP and then began getting the code... The dealership called today and said that they needed to start looking for an electrical problem... Anyone ever heard of an electrical problem leading to this code with the 6.0? I changed the IPR and ICP because i knew they could be culprits... could not find a leak with an air pressure test. I don't want to get into a situation that we start hoping for a fix or not knowing what to look for... I do most of the work on my vehicles myself and have had bad experiences with dealerships in the past... The code only came on when hauling a 32 foot travel trailer or at high acceleration or going up a bridge...

You've listed 2 codes. P2990 and P2290? Which one is it??

So I found the answer... seems that i do not need the new fuel pump or the pcm as the stealership wanted... instead definitely had a high pressure oil leak... the o-ring between the stc replacement and the branch tubes was shot... I guess that it was not seated in the slot correctly when it was put together the first time...

Also please note that you should find the instructions before installing a new stc fitting...

There is a picture on the net that shows the new fitting installed with the plastic alignment part installed in the engine... this is how i did mine initially... not any more, but it took doing it again to make it right...

Good news is the second time you take the HPOP out it is a little easier...
