Anyone? I need to figure something out cause my other car just blew a valve cover gasket and I need the rad in and done and I need a more cooling due to long periods of idling this truck is gonna deal with.
I found a 4 row super cooler one that says it will fit (several sites had the same one for varying prices), but like I said is it gonna cool it to much? IE will I not have heat with this sucker?
All F150s with gas V8s of this vintage use the same radiator from the factory: either one row or two row versions . The 5.0, 5.8. and 7.5 radiators are all interchangeable-if the transmissions are the same. The automatics need the built-in tranny cooler. But most replacement radiators have the automatic tranny cooler.
All I can say mine has been doing fine for 17 years.....
Im pretty sure Im going with AL/2 row. Gonna give a friend of a friend a call at a rad shop tomorrow. I dont want a 4 row, it wont cool to well b/c air doesnt get to all 4 rows (found out the hard way long ago) but if he says he has a 3 row I might bite. Really just want to pick his brain if anything.
Probably will wind up with the 2 row. Anyone got anything bad to say about radiatorbarn while were at it, 130 shipped is a good price imho
