Turns out the alternator was bad,but i STILL have a hard start,white smoke,and the infamous romp when starting the truck in Florida's 90 degree weather.

Have'nt switched to syn. oil yet,but will soon. I'm thinking it's gotta be the HPOP or ICP sensor.

Does anyone think it might be the HPOP? Or injectors? No blue smoke at start,just white.

 

Why do you think HPOP?

 

My truck has 180k on it & would romp a little once in a while. I put 2 bottles of the REV-X in a couple of weeks ago & it has not done this since & seems to start much easier & is much quieter. Maybe this REV-X isn't snake oil.

 

Well the hpop is leaking,i confirmed that today.. Obviously the HPOP isnt bad if white smoke is comin out after the hard start right guys? That's mean the injectors are firing? correct?
