My new truck didnt come with the 5 digit code in the glove box that would allow me to unlock the door or reprogram...Im pissed..dealer lost the card! can any dealer give me this info by looking up the vin#

I had the same problem when I bought a used Escape for my wife. The dealership had to plug it into their computer and get the factory code. They tried to charge me for an hour of labor (it only took them 5 min to get the code) but I was able to get it for free
