Deavers should ride awesome with some decent shock's, I totaly agree with paul. Piece it together. I dont think you'll go much over in price then a rough country lift with just the front end stuff, shocks might add up though. For the rear if your only wanting 2 more inches, flip the stock shackle hanger and move it forward a little. This should net you 2 inches and you'll never have to deal with u-bolts and blocks, should be just as easy.
I still don't get how the shackle flip would give you more lift. The place where the leaf spring bolts up would be raised...wouldn't that lower the truck then?
Nevermind i figured it out. Went ahead and went outside and looked at my 96 f150 (pretty much the same thing i believe) and i forgot part of the setup, i see how it works now.
and I was going to warn him that he would probably get chit from the "big boys" for that post but I figured nobody was around to do so seeing how quiet it's been here lately....
