New guy with problems

I have a 92 F150 with a 302. Truck had 160,000 but the motor only has about 10,000 miles. It has a MSD 6A box and Blaster coil so i should have plenty of spark. Got this truck from my buddy after it sat for about 3 years. Started right up and drove fine for a week and a half. Stopped at a store left and it started chugging like it was missing a cylinder. Changed plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, and throttle position sensor. Checked codes and i'm getting a 25, 42, and 73, 25 is knock not sensed during dynamic test. 42 is no HEGO switching detected always rich. 73 is TPS senor did not exceed 25% rotation during Dynamic Response Test (user error). I don't know where else to go from here. I don't want to take it in anywhere because it's expensive but these codes don't tell me much. I would appreciate any help you guys could give me.

There was barely any in there. I filled it up with fresh gas before i went anywhere. I filled the truck a couple times while i drove it for a week and a half. Ran perfectly fine till i stopped at a store one day.

Would the oxygen sensor cause it to run this bad since it is running so rich? It had no exhaust on it before just the cats. I put a short pipe and a muffler on it when i got it.

Everyone has O2 sensor problems at one time. Maybe it's the culprit but what makes you so sure that because you have an MSD your getting good spark? I had a pick-up coil problem and wasn't getting enough spark to #1 and #2 cylinders. There was spark but not enough for combustion. Check your plugs for me will ya? If the electrode part is black then that cylinder isn't firing.

If its missing just start pulling plug wires off tell you pull one that makes no difference in the way it runs , good place to start...Lew

Now this way is quicker but it is dangerous if not careful. I gave him the lenghty beginner way of checking if it's missing.

Yeah please no bare hands if your un-experienced. You know getting shocked by the truck's electrical system is actually way worse than getting shocked by an electrical outlet. Just some info... I don't mean to scare you.

The MSD box could be the problem, when they act up this is the type of thing that happens and there are no codes for it because it's not part of the original ignition. Try removing it to see if that makes any difference.

I just changed the plugs and they were all brown except one that was wet. Thats what i have been trying to figure out why one cylinder would not be firing. I have no idea about anything with the msd box. I didnt install it so i dont know if stuff was taken out to put it in or what. And i really don't want to be electrocuted from the extra voltage it puts out pulling off wires while its running lol. I tried another injector on the cylinder that was wet but it didn't make a difference.

Isn't there some kind of module inside the distributor under everything in there?

The pick-up goes inside and it maintains spark.
