Coning rear tires

Can anyone think of why my rear tires are coning? I had them rotated about 3 months ago and they look like they are still fronts.

Silly question...were they "coned" before you swapped them? Even though they are now on the rear the wear pattern is not going to magically disappear. If they were not coned then I suspect tire pressure is the problem.

If you rotated them front to rear it will not go away for a long time. The proper way of rotating tires on a RWD/4WD application is. Remove rear tires move strait to front. Remove front tires and cross going to the rear. As in LF tire will go to the RR and the RF tire will go to the LR.

I don't ever do the cross rotation on any tires. I have seen issues from it in the past. I know that some tire shops recommend it, but I won't ever do it again.

I will also agree that if the front tires are now in the back and they haven't been rotated in a long time they will have less shoulder tread and more center tread.
