All this talk about how bad it is in Ca..... is completely true. I'm a California native. Never thought I'd have reason to leave until a couple years ago. Just about can't stand it here anymore. My youngest is leaving for University of Texas Permian Basin (read Odessa) next month. I think I might go with her. Screw liberals and Cali.
EDIT: I forgot to say... Thank You to our Troops. God Speed.
I went monday to get a smog test in Phoenix to register my truck and I was pleasantly surprised. I was sitting in line and realized I forgot to hide my dp tuner, put a stock airbox in, and restore my ccv mod. I live in Cali so the smog ***** here dont want ANY changes to stock. Well the guy walks over and tells me about the tet proceedure and glances at my tuner sitting on the gauge pod and I thought I was had. He didnt care and told me to pop the hood and checks out the bay. Then he sez ok we are starting the test. So 3 mashes of the pedal later and I have my pass certificate in hand, nevermind the modded intake, ccv, dp tuner, and welded straight pipe exhaust lol. I LOVE AZ! Oh and what about getting Az title, tags, and plate on the spot at a third party station after handing them my Cali title and $106 vs $354 in Ca due to all the BS fees (for a 10yr old vehicle?!?!?!)
Why cant Cali realize that it's emssions we are trying to control? If my moded truck passes all there emission requirements who gives a $#%^ what I have done to the vehicle!!!!!!!!
Welcome to AZ

If you register your truck in any county but Maricopa, Pinal or Yuma there would be know testing. They are the only counties that require it. I'm in Gila county and I think it will be years, if ever, before they require testing here. Populaion is just to small.
The leadership philosophy of both of our states is very similar, and will likely lead to the same place someday. So far, we're the bigger losers, but someday....

Not to beat a dead horse any more than needed but I "think" that is referring to any land regulated by the DNR which would essentially be State campgrounds/forests and probably covers any National parks as well. We pretty much only use private campgrounds who also like to throw the DNR approved statement out there. I may be interpreting that incorrectly but i don't beleive we are required by law to use approved firewood in those cases.
