its the whole reason i wanted the car to make a custom out of it. if it was a 2 door id be more into keeping stock but its not so.... :P

Maybe I'm old minded, I still like shiney things. Flat black ruins it for me

This is a good reason why I'm now getting into old riffles and tractors.... everything always left as is and original, just raw history.

A lot of guys will paint flat black to hide imperfections. The small dings and such, where a new shiny paint shows.
They say the flat blacks are the rat rod coloring with red accents. I'm sorry but I think it is hiding layers of bondo and rust and wavy metal surfaces.
