Looks like a good truck. Also, I couldn't get my pictures to load of photobucket last night either, never did figure it out.

So i guess i can tell you guys what the secret is. Fom was right i just bought an absolutely mint 1950 mercury monarch 4 dr (suicide rear doors). There is ZERO rust on this car none in the floor, truck rockers nothing. Stored inside since 1960, the side trim is completes and in near perfect shape. The interior is shot but all the trim pieces etc are there. It still has the factory spare tire. there are 4 dents on the car and they are no bigger than one you would get from a shopping cart and one window is cracked and some of the others are delaminating and the hood ornament is broken.

Ill post pics once i bring it home for you guys to drool over.

The 1948 f47 will be going up for sale in the next week or two i just have to unstick the rear wheels to make it easier to move around my car port.

its gonna cost about $15,000 to chop it the way i want so im gonna drive it the way it is till i can afford it. Right now its too nice to chop

They sure do look pretty good when they are chopped a little bit though.. not too much, but a little!

I cant wait to see what you do with this car man, should be sweet!

i want to do a 4-5" chop at the window and run a 1/4" rod down and let it bend on its own to the back trunk lid to get my chop
