On the 57-60's When I did my One piece Windows, you have to remove the upper Mirror bung.. the part the bolts tread in to. I also had to bend the bung mount down a little so the window channel would lay flat.

Stinging insects like vent windows too!!!
I have done a few drivers side dances over the years!
I always think of those dang things!
