Vent window delete?

I have a 1970 f100 and was wondering if anyone makes a vent window eliminator kit? I'm just not in love with it. Any help?

You could just get a newer truck without those silly vent windows and let me have that 70 f100.

Where will you flick your cigar ash?

Personally I rue the day they stopped putting vent windows in vehicles.

No there is not. It is due to the hinges that are recessed into the door.

You might be able to fab something in the space where the vent is. It will have to be fixed.

There is a kit offered by Vintage Glass. They had it listed on their site at 1 time but I do not see it now. I would contact them. The kit was in the $600 range which really isn't that bad since everything is new. You can also order the tint of the window you want.

1-pc Door Glass vent elimination kits (for 67-72 Trucks)

I wonder if this means No Longer Available because no one was buying it.

I have checked the link. This is why I recommended contacting them. Even if they no longer offer it as a product I bet they have drawings/diagrams that would prove quite helpful. No longer available for viewing doesn't necessarily mean no longer available. It could be a matter of a limit on products in the database. There are so many factors that could be involved. It's a toll free call to find out if they still sell it as a kit. If not be sure to ask if they have any drawings/diagrams they could send you. They also state they have all glass patterns so if you do end up having to manufacture your own kit you could still order your glass from them.
