1997 powerstroke electrical
we were camping and I had door open and radio playing, I put a pine cone in door jam so dome light would not com on, now dome light will not turn off. close both doors and made sure light switch was not turned on for dome and cargo light. but both dome and cargo lights stay on, pulled # 8 fuse in panel, but when we started to leave mileage indicator would not turn on and overdrive light on shift arm keep blinking on and off. Stopped and put fuse back in and drove home. That stopped the o.d light on shifter from going on and off, and mileage indicator worked. but dome and cargo light still on.

Ive seen the little plunger button for the cab door lights fail before as well you could unscrew it and replace it if nessary they're like $10 or simply unplug the wiring from the back to turn off the lights.
