Dome/Cargo lights question

Dome & Cargo lights will not coming on when keyless entry is used, however all of my running lights are illuminated. The Dome & cargo do work correctly if door is opened, or if the dome light switch on dash is manually 'rolled up until it clicks' and turned on.

When I lock the truck with the key fob, the dome light will stay on for about 30 seconds, then turn off. Is this a programing option that can be changed so the interior comes on when the keyless remote unlocks the truck?

As a secondary question, are all 3 of the bulbs in my ex cab dome light 578 festoon or are the 2 map lights 194? I would like to change them to LED and I couldn't find it in the manual, only info I can find here on the site are crew cab's with a different setup.

Thanks in advance

From the 2007 Owners Manual:

Illuminated entry
The interior lamps illuminate when the remote entry system is used to
unlock the door(s).
The illuminated entry system will turn off the interior lights if:
• the ignition switch is turned to the 4 (ON) position, or
• the remote transmitter lock control is pressed, or
• the 7 • 8 and the 9 • 0 controls on the keyless entry keypad are
pressed, or
• after 25 seconds of illumination.
The dome lamp control (if equipped) must not be set to the off position
for the illuminated entry system to operate.
The inside lights will not turn off if:
• they have been turned on with the dimmer control, or
• any door is open.
The battery saver will shut off the interior lamps 30 minutes after the
ignition has been turned to the 3 (OFF) position, 10 minutes after if the
dome lamp is off, and 30 minutes after if the dome lamp switch is left
on.

Thank you. I did read through that in my manual already, but what I don't understand is does that mean by pressing 7-8 and 9-0 you can program the lights to then be on or off with the keyless entry?

Asked the dealer, they aren't aware of any programming to enable/disable that option. They say it should just come on. My Dad's F350 dome light comes on when he unlocks his. I'm not sure what the deal is???
