I had it scanned again the ICP drops under acceleration, what would cause that. Mechanic said check map sensor and line and could be a turbo issue.

ICP and the Map and different entities, If the ICP drops under WOP then you could have a bad IPR which controls your HPOP pressure and duty cycle.

Have you tried unplugging the ICP?

Yes, I did this initially. The sensor is new. It had oil in the plug. New harnes also, I did one wire at a time not to cross them up.
I finally gave in and took it to the shop. I have no word yet what the problem is. I am still leaning towards hpop.

OK got the truck back from the shop, he gave me the choice to work on what the main problem was, the fuel pump was junk. I had put the walbro on when this first started but I had the stiffer spring in the regulator and could have fried both pumps. I also have a main harness and injector harness issue to address also.

I did tje new airtex pump today, but I have not driven it much to load up on it. I hope this is the fix.

So far so good, I was hitting the hills and the roads that it used to act up on and its not duplicating the problem. I still need to address the harness issue, but its running so off to a good start.
