Yes they did, here is a picture of my truck. They are after market, but are the style they used up to 76, or early 77, then they changed style, I always kinda like the old school tear drop style myself. I think cab lights look great on a dent.
I got the factory options letter back from FoMoCo the other day. My 77 came with them and was built 6/77.
Never had them and wasn't a fan of them until I got this pickup. They're growing on me, and I think I'm leaning to more original with the "restoration" than not. Obvious improvements to suspension and power pack, but the old school original touches are where it's at.
I did mine 4 1/2" from the top edge of the windshield gasket to the front edge of the light. They are 13" center to center. I like the even spacing look, and they follow the contour of the windshiled which I also like.
My build sheet says mine has dealer installed clearance lights....I hate em tho...they are straight across the top, not following the contour like I want...
