Pardon my ignorance, but are small lifts, cut fenders and flat beds really considered modified? And I really hope a Ford would dominate the japanese rigs, not just give them a run for their money.

Well as we speak that blue ox is recieving a 6" lift over that 4" lift and 35" M/Ts, over the 32" M/Ts, 4bbl Carb, Performer intake, and some hedman headers with straight pipes, I think is enough to consider modified...

here is a pic of mine from a year or two ago. In this pic it is running a 6" lift,3.50 geared sterling 10.25 full float rear, dana 44 front with 8 lug swap and 15" wheels(not a good fit),the radius arms are custom 5/16 wall 2 1/2 " box tube that were extended approx 14"
On board belt driven air compressor and 5 gal. tank, custom bumpers front and rear with a 8000lb winch, electric fans, ect ect..

since these pics I have put a "new" frame and axles under it and gone back to 1/2ton running gear.

nice trucks guys!
as far as i see it, a modified truck is a truck that has had changes made by the owner for certain uses or just matters of taste.

hey c.l.nye i like the front bar on your truck, is that a commercially available bar or did you fabricate it yourself?
i would like to put a winch onto mine but i wanna retain the 77 front end, and all the winch bars available in australia resemble the great big cow catchers they stick on the front of 18 wheelers.

Just replacing the stock AM radio is a modification. As asked before just what do you drive?
