I am pretty sure they are just stuck on with no alignment holes but I am not 100% sure. Let me ask someone I know at the plant for a for positive answer.
Edit:
Yes they are just stick on and there are no alignment holes in the door. They now use a jig to install the badges straight to prevent having to have holes in the door!

I've taken these kind of things off before. They are usually mounted with some good 3M double-sided foam tape. You can use a hair dryer to soften the tape and pull gently by hand, maybe use a plastic putty knife if you need to get underneath the emblem. I would not use a real heat gun as they usually produce too much heat and may damage the paint.
While on the subjecting of removing items from the 2011 body, has anybody removed the 4x4 or FX4 stickers from the box yet? Can you heat them up with a hair dryer and then peel them off?

A hair dryer is a perfect application for taking off a sticker. Works really well and no worries about damaging the paint.

Thanks. I know that some folks don't like the look of the grill on the 2011s, and some don't like the diesel badge (both are fine with me) but I don't like the stickers on the 2011s.
BTW - my truck was in Wisconsin early this morning on a westbound BNSF train. Getting closer.

Woohoo! Like a new father waiting outside the delivery room you're probably anxious as heck. Be honest now, have you Google mapped the train route and street-viewed one of the pass-through spots yet?

Guilty as charged. I've google mapped the route via CSX and now BNSF, but I've not yet street-viewed the pass through spots. Now you've given me something else to track. LOL
