VIN decode
This is the VIN that was in my glovebox when i got my F250
the body isnt original so i just wanted to know what the donor truck was before its body got put on my F250...

TRANS code K (first used in 1979) = C6 Cruise-O-Matic.
Previous years, Ford used TRANS code G for every F100/350 A/T.
One had to know which A/T came with what engine.
AXLE 13 = Ford 9" / 2.75-1 / non Limited Slip / 3750 lb. Rear Axle Capacity.
BODY code BBH: BB = Blue all Vinyl (Body Style 81E ~ Ranger XLT, Lariat) / H = Super Cab.
The last 6 digits of the VIN = Numerical Sequence of Assembly (the truck's specific serial number) is DH0484, not H0484.
