It's kinda like a puzzle, I fiddled with my return spring ( closing devise) for a while but it works. Sorry I don't have a pic.

I had problems with mine for years, when I hit a bump the door would fly open and the spring would pop off. Someone on FTE said they were using magnets to hold the door shut, that was a few years ago and it now works fine.

No stock

I phoned around today but nobody has the spring style shown in my picture. I bought the spare one I have for this very reason, as I have never seen them offered as repop.

I will keep my eyes open and buy them every opportunity that comes along.

Yea, the profile of those springs doesn't look right.
I didn't realize that the springs weren't being repopped. If/when I stumble upon a cab out in the wilds I'll try and remember to look for the spring.

Any luck on trying to reshape one of the springs you try and match the correct profile?

I think Bobby is right, try "massaging" the spring you have now to see if it can be made to fit better. They are only $ 5.00to replace if that doesn't work; they don't make the profile shown in Bobby's and my pictures. I could post some mesurements.
