Does the FICM for F150, F250, F350 (2004 to 2007) for 6.0L engine can be fit in excursion 6.0L or not
You can take one from a known good truck and start it with no problems but a U0306 communication code which means nothing except the PCM and FICM weren't flashed together. If you have one out of a used truck it will work if it's good.
Yes, the FICM for a 2003-2007 F250/350 and 2003-2005 Excursion will work. It just needs to be programmed....
Thank for your support .... regarding the program ... the dealer will never do that ... So, from where I get the program .... can I do it or need special equipment

It would be much cheaper to just pay the dealer to do it. The programming to do the FICM programming is very expensive--much more than the cost of a whole engine.
I install a new FICM …. But the situation didn't change, the engine cranking no start. I checked the voltage in the FICM during the key on and cranking. It was 48V in the first pin and the other 3 pins reading in mv. I checked the FICM logic fuse and the relay behind all are fine and working good. I don’t know what is the problem. Why the new FICM reading the same old FICM. Where is the problem?????????
What do you mean it was reading the same as the old one. The only screw you check is the first one and it should read at least 45 volts
As I understand the 4 pins should give 48V .... Now, the engine cranking but no start white smoke goes out of the Exhaust outlet also from back of the engine. Should I inspect the glow plug or GPCM …. Note: I have 8 glow plugs new, should I install it in the engine try or not …. Please I don’t know what I should do to start the engine …. Ford dealer's want to change the injections, PCM, FICM and overhaul the engine because he don’t have qualified manpower to do the diagnostic to find out what is the cause. Also, there are no workshop qualified in Diesel system.... Please help me
