Is it the factory alarm system or is there an a/m alarm system? If it's the factory one, then it should be able to be done with for sure ford's computer software. I'm not too sure if AE can do that with the factory alarm. I really haven't delved that deeply into AE software.

If it's a/m then there is usually a switch(where it's mounted would depend on the person that did the installing) that would override that "locking command". I think it's called a valet switch, but that might just be a term that Viper uses, I don't know.

I think that system was only in the Excursion. Was not in any Superduty. Suggest you move up to the Excursion forum and ask in there. I'm sure someone there will know. You will have better luck getting an answer than in a diesel engine forum like this one.

I think Ford has to unlock it, but I am not certain.

Sounds like they have diagnosed a problem in the high pressure oil system. That shouldn't require a complete overhaul of the engine, only replacement of the faulty components.

Actually, we all screwed up on this. If it had been the PATS system, the truck would not have cranked. Should have asked more questions. I suppose we can be forgiven considering the title of the thread.

Well Alrafee, glad you have a start on repair. Hopefully the "overhaul" thing is just confusion over the language. Best of luck.

We can all sit here and make random guesses about this "car" but with the limited info its just that, blind guess. What kind of "pressure" is the dealer talking about? Compression, High press oil, fuel??

Since the OP is from Saudi Arabia, I suspect there's a bit of a language barrier that we're dealing with.

The car had 118045 mile..... I will provide the result from the dealer regarding the
 ICP (Injection Control Pressure Sensor)
 HFCM (the fuel pump)
 FICM (Fuel Injector Control Module)
 IPR (injection pressure regulator)
 HPOP (high pressure oil pump)
Please inform me if there is any further information I can provided from the dealer

Unless for made changes to the PATS, it would still crank, but it wouldn't start.

It may be as simple as resetting the PATS, but I would strongly suggest going to another, more honest dealer...
