I have the seals for both vent windows, both roll up windows, and cab weather strips. my vent windows move about 1/4 inch at the bottom hinge, does anyone know how to fix this, just trying to do my homework before I tear into the ol' girl.
also, any tips before doing this? I realy dont want to tear anything up that I cant fix but only replace.
I can't say anything about your wing windows as for replacing the seals. I'm waitng to do that as well. You might have to replace them, my wing windows dont have any play in them as you describe. As for the other seals, it pretty easy. Thay just pull right out and it's not hard to see how the new ones go back in. I did both doors in 2 days (after work).
Not sure what ya mean ,wing window moves 1/4 inch.. It wont open, or it is loose or what? As far as seal Ive never replaced seals on one , I have changes out wing windows. Those usually have seals that way out last the door window seals
the wing windowframe itself is bad, or the door frame.. I have several wing windows I think. The wing window comes out but it includes the front part of the main window track..pm me if you need wing windows..
I appreciate it, but I have a local boneyard full of these trucks I'm just gonna run up there and find some so I dont have to mess with shipping. lol so it just comes out with the window track huh?
good deal.. yea take door panel off and there is a bolt that you take out (it holds front of window track) and then there are 2 phillips screws on the outside top forward side of the door ..good luck

Thanks, that'll take a lot of guess work out of getting them out, I might even buy an extra set of side windows and vent windows while I'm taking it all apart. lol wouldnt hurt to have them as spares. lol
