I asked James @ DP-Tuner about neat feature of the updated tunes. The ICP and timing ramps up the power gradually as EOT increases. You don't really have to start out in stock or worry too much about cold starts in the higher tunes. It is a smooth transition of power that I call "get in it and go" mode. It is warmer weather here and right now I can hardly tell that there is any loss of power when the engine is cold 'til it warms up.

I sent my chip in a while back for the updated tunes,I spoke with James and Jody both,I was asking about updates 'cause I had read something on the web site,I have had my chip in for about three years and I was told since then there was literally thousands of updates for my chip/set up.After I got it back and reinstalled it,I noticed a world of difference,it was like a whole new chip. The down shifting is nice, the fuel peddle is more smooth and linear, power was more predictable with alot less smoke,I want to say"more" power...but.....,idle is very much smoother, and there's no idle change from, one tune to another. If anyone has had chip for a while with out updates,I would strongly recommend doing it.And no there was no charge for updates, but since I still have the F-5,I had to send it in,this was me the whole week.......and this was me and April........but now....

Im totally convinced now. I was playing around with it yesterday and it only idles smoothly in 120, im willing to bet they have that worked out.
Will pull it out right before I do the HPOP seals and clutch, that way I shouldnt miss it for too long.

How is it supposed to idle with all that fuel on 120, i would say it will idle better in stock or in a tow mode, JMOP.
