Using Dave's numbers, a 6.9 running at 3300 rpms pulls in abit over 400 cubic feet per minute, so if that blower can deliver more than 400 cfm there will be a benefit. Now the question is, is there an electric fan or something that can move 400 cfm and is small enough to be installed in the engine bay?
i never took any pics of all the piping. just these pics here. turbo clocked and the intercooler as it went in. sorry for the mostly night pics, i do my best work when the sun goes down. especially with the 110 degree days. i'll post pics of all the tubes ran tomorrow.
the pics of the holds were temp. they got cleaned up and finish welded. that was just under construction pics. right side is bolted in so it can be removed, pull out one side of the intercooler then rotate it upward to get the other side out.
ya I know. Finding a holie bumper aroun here is next to impossible. It will cme one day. Til then..... The charge doesn't boost enough to need more the it gets. And I had it bent. Had it done while I was having my exhaust work done. I can't afford a bbender worth a crap.
Yikes thats a big intercooler! I wonder if you will even notice a difference with half of it blocked off. Could also make a bumper from scratch but modding or just swapping would be easier.
Doubt I could fit an intercooler of that size in my truck. Dual tranny coolers and the AC radiator already take up a lot of space. Maybe a custom grille of some sort but I still would have my doubts.
