cab conversion
How difficult would it be to put an ext. cab, or crew cab, on a highboy?
I still want the long bed. Thanx

Your High Boy w/an 8 ft bed has a 131" wheelbase. No Crew Cab or 1974/79 Super Cab shares this same wheelbase.
Crew Cab High Boys were available, but the frames are different than Regular Cabs due to the longer wheelbases.
No Super Cab's until 1974. No High Boy came as a Super Cab which has wheelbases all to itself, which means the frames are different.

it would be easier ...
seams to me it would be easier to just convert it to 4x4 and lift it heck if you went 4x4 with out remodleing your front cross member you would need a 6 inch lift any way. then bingo crew cab hiboy
