Too bad you're on the wrong coast. A friend of mine is parting out a 94 CC DRW.

If your truck came from the factory a cab and chassis the bed won't be a bolt on job. The frames are different. Not saying it won't fit, just that it won't be a simple six bolt job.

First step here, measure the truck frame rails at the back.

34" from outside to outside, cab and chassis truck
37.5" from outside to outside, left the factory as a pickup.

Where are you located?

I have one here in Florida thats in decent condition. It has one cracked fender but is otherwise solid.

Ive been looking for a nice flatbed, so Im in an opposite situation as you.

My incomplete has no issues with a bed bolting right up, so I don't think you'll have an issue.

EDIT: dang, this thread is old...

Plan here for one is to become a dedicated snow truck, when it's done, it won't have a bed, just a v-box salter mounted to a frame as needed, and a set of wrap around fenders of some sort for the rear wheels.

There will be a toolbox mounted somewhere, and some brackets etc to carry a few miscellaneous things such as shovels, and a bucket for hand treating walks and the like.

Minimum weight to allow maximum cargo weight and be legal, ease of access for maintenance and washing up, and no box to get in the way of anything.
