SRW flatbed
I remember seeing a picture of a single rear wheel truck with a flatbed on it on FTE a while ago. A search yielded no results.
Does anyone have a single rear wheel truck with a flatbed on it? If so I'd appreciate pictures and dimensions (width mainly)
My bed is 75" across at the top of the headboard (front edge of the bed) and the narrowest 8 foot flatbed I can find is 84" across. That's 4.5" hanging out on each side. Flatbeds typically stick out past the cab but I'm not sure how good it will look.
My brother has a 98.5 24v Dodge with a flatbed on it 84" by 8' and it looks good but I'm not sure how it will look on a Superduty. My truck is physically larger than his so I'd think it'd fit as well or better but I'm still not 110% sold on the idea.
The reason I'm looking at a flatbed is my current bed is just rotting off the truck so it's not that I dislike having a pickup bed I can just put a flatbed to better use and it's harder to ugly up a flatbed than it is to damage a pickup bed. I use my truck and being able to put skidsteer attachments on a flatbed would be awesome. Plus a nice big square (rectangular) bed is great for hauling firewood. Makes it easy to figure out exactly how much wood is on the truck for delivering to customers etc. so if anyone has pictures of a single rear wheel Superduty with a flatbed on it I'd appreciate it if you could post those up. Dually pictures aren't discouraged but aren't needed. I already know a dually looks good with a flatbed on it.
A picture from directly in front of the truck would be awesome.
Thanks.
