i have a 77 f250. my bed is completely rotted out and so dented it is completely destroyed. ive been trying to find a bed but i cant find anything. should i keep looking or build a flatbed onto it? let me know your opinion. if you have one with a flatbed then post some pics so i can see how it looks. thanks.

I really like the practical use of a flatbed. They look naked below the bed though.

I just looked at poison oil racing's site. I really like that flatbed.

Smoores250 where are you located? I know of an 8' bed. A friend of mine put a 2000 superduty bed on his 73 4x4. Looked pretty good - no trim and all one color.

Smoores, sorry no pics. I bought a 2000 SD bed for the guy to have as a spare but, he was inconsiderate and died. The truck sort of disappeared. Check out Ithaca, NY craigslist for Dec 30 under auto parts. There is a 78 bed listed there. George PS: don't forget to join the NY Chapter.
