I just read your post. The O-ring turned out to be the right size, it just had another O-ring under it. Someone got lazy at RCD
It's just a stroke of fate. I was putting an injector back together this morning after taking some pictures and thought that might be the problem. I wish my pictures had come out as well.
Ahh!..Man, I knew something wasn't right! Working at a dealership, I install mostly new injectors, so reman injectors aren't as commonly installed. I had never run into this problem. It's nice to know what kind of problems are out there like this.
Glad you figured it out.
Lol I knew it wasnt right the way it was. Thank heavens it turned out to be a simple problem where I didnt have to send the injectors back and loose about another two weeks for the install.

Yea I wish my pictures werent so blurry, but I had to do it up close to try to get the tiny little numbers in the orange square. Which didnt work lol. Hopefully the rest of my pictures come out good.
I'm sure RCD will be glad when I call tomorrow. They were stumped to lol. Although they didnt mention something about plugs changed in 03-04 but not enough to matter. I would just have to rotate the injector plug 45 degrees, which I did and did NOT work. lol It was worse than before. They told me the little numbers in the orange squares werent relavant, and didnt matter if they lined up. I asked about the male and female slots lining up, and they said it should be fine. Oh well. What started as a tough problem turned out to be a simple solution.
Hopefully it will be today. I still have to button up the drivers side and then plumb my fuel pump into the top of the fuel take. Then it will be ready to start.
Dang it! I just read this post for the first time just now and saw the oring difference in the injector plugs in ur pics. Noticed one was seated and the other wasn't. Sorry bro I could've saved ya a little headache if I wouldve looked at this earlier.
